Hell, it even looks small compared to the other vehicles off to the sides.

Most amusing to me is how small it looks compared to a Yaris.

I love parking as deeply into a space as possible, particular in between/behind trucks.
Every time I'm looking for a spot and fall for the same trick, I just tell myself, "I deserve that."

My HS friends used to give me flak about posing as a parking space.

Here (Uruguay) most cars are Euro, Japanese or straight up Latin-America-spec (small-ish) and many are the same vintage of you Sunny, only recently GM, Ford and Dodge have started to export them to these lands.
I can't put in words how much out of place those huge SUVs and Pickup Trucks look parked on the street. I live in my city's centre and it's obvious that those things were not taken into consideration at all when planning the parking spaces. Their length and, most of all their width are just out of proportion: 1/4 of their body always sticking out into the driving lanes (they are wide AND people can't park them well enough). Just too big.

I actually stopped parking like that after a stupid soccer mom almost ran into the back of my NB because she thought there was an empty space there.

Nothing like coming out of the store to find somebody nearly crushed your car. Note they are 'in the line'. Still jerks. No gap.

They are so cute! I know the feel too my notch fox body looks so much smaller than most cars even smallish imports.

By the translative law of compensation, I bet you have a proportionately bigger D than that truck guy.
